Get out of the cold this month and join me for a fun class or a crop!  There's something for everyone- even the kids!

La Vie En Rose card class- Wednesday, January 6- 6:30-9:00 PM-

You will make 2 of each of these cards while learning some fun techniques using the watercolor paints.  Your supplies include the La Vie en Rose paper packet, Fundamentals Assortment- Black and White Daisy cards and envelopes.  The cost of the supplies (with shipping and tax) is $27.16.

La Vie En Rose scrapbook class- Monday, January 11- 6:30-9:00 PM

 You will make three 2-page layouts that will be perfect to scrapbook anyone you love!  Your supplies include the La Vie En Rose paper packet, La Vie en Rose Complements and La Vie en Rose Assortment plus 7 extra sheets of Cardstock.  The cost of the supplies is $29.78 (with shipping and tax).

Kid's Class- Mini Album- Thursday, January 21 4:00- 5:30 PM

Sign your kids (age 8-13) up to make this cute paper bag album to show off all of the things they like to do! I will have several different die-cuts that they can use- sports, animals, music, family, etc.  They can bring pictures with them (4"x4") or put them on at home.

Cost for the class is $15.  Please RSVP by January 11-limited to 6 kids.

Use Your Stash Night- Friday, January 22  6:00-11:00 PM

Bring your own projects to work on.  Cost is just $5- Bring your own drink, I will provide dinner and snacks.  Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 20- limited to 6 people.

Kid's Class- Valentine Treats- Thursday, January 28 4:00-5:30 PM

Kids (age 8-13) will learn how to use acrylic stamps and alcohol markers while making these super cute Valentines and treat bags.  Cost for the class is $15.  Please RSVP by January 18-limited to 6 kids.

Bring your laptop and create a Studio J layout right along with me.  There is no charge for this class until you order your layout!  Please RSVP by Friday, May 18.

Footloose Six Layout Workshop (rescheduled date!)

This paper packet will be retired in August, so come and get six layouts done and ready for all of your summer pictures!

Studio J Digital Scrapbooking


Have you tried Studio J Digital Scrapbooking yet?  If not, you should!  It is so easy to make beautiful layouts with just your computer and the internet!  Are you afraid that your layouts will look flat and un-embellished?  Not with Studio J!  You can add brads, buttons, ribbon, stitching, stickers - just about everything that you can put on a classic layout.  Plus, you don't have to get out all of your supplies every time you want to scrapbook!

Now, I do love to do classic scrapbooking - all the paper and embellishments really call to me.  But there are lots of things that I absolutely LOVE about Studio J!

• There are times that I am going to a crop and don't have time to get my paper, embellishments and pictures all together. So, I just make sure that where I'm going has wireless internet and I grab my laptop and go!
• I don't have to think about what size I am going to print off my pictures.  With Studio J I can just drag my picture to a photo well and it automatically resizes the pictures to fit that well - whether it be a 3x3 photo well or an 8x10 photo well.
• I can get a lot of variety on my pages without having to invest in a lot of supplies!  With Studio J you have access to so many of the Close to My Heart paper packets and embellishments - both current and retired!
• I can order multiple copies of my layouts.  That way if I want to make up an album for the grandparents I can make the layout once and then just order 2 copies of it (or 3 if I want one, too!).  I did this a couple of years ago for Christmas presents for the grandparents and they LOVED their albums!  I would have never gotten two albums of classic layouts done in time for Christmas!

For the class that I am doing, we will be making two layouts.  One will use the Pemberley My Reflections kit and the other will use the Cruisin' My Reflections kit.  You will need to bring a laptop to create your projects on, and it is helpful if you could have your pictures loaded into a file that you can just upload into Studio J.
